Creamy Mushrooms & Spinach

Me and my husband love mushrooms and I make them almost once every week. I often make combination as per the availability of vegetables in my fridge. This recipe also came to existence like that only🤗. And when a dear friend tried she loved it and wanted me to put it on the blog.

So, this one is especially for you ‘Megha Vaibhav Jindal Aka Pari’s Mom’😍

Creamy spinach and mushrooms can be your favorite weekday lunch fix. You can easily prepare this in the morning rush. Not many spices are required and it’s a very simple recipe. Here it goes:

Ingredients:

  • 200 grams button mushrooms(cleaned and cut in quarter pieces)
  • 200 grams spinach(washed thoroughly and chopped)
  • 1/2 cup crumbled cottage cheese(paneer)
  • 2 tbsp fresh cream(Malai skimmed from milk)
  • 1 tsp garlic paste
  • 1/2 tsp ginger paste
  • 1 medium onion chopped roughly
  • 2-3 packets Pizza seasoning😉(or 1 tsp dried oregano)
  • 1 tsp red chilli flakes
  • 1 tsp black pepper powder
  • Salt to taste

Process:

  • Heat some oil in a pan and add chopped onionsIMG20170322075531

  • Now add cut mushrooms and mix, let them cook for 4-5 minutes on low flameIMG20170322075744

  • Next step is to add paneer and cream and mix properly
