No Churn Mocha Brownie Ice Cream

I am a coffee lover and I love it in all forms. A Mocha ice cream is a delight to a coffee lover like me. And when it is clubbed with everyone’s favorite Brownie, it becomes ‘Oh so Heavenly’ 😍😍😍

I was craving for a coffee ice cream since long and while making my daughter’s favorite Chocolate Ice Cream I thought why not make my coffee ice cream as well. I added few pieces of my favorite Brownie to  it and the result was pretty awesome😍. Finally made it more fancy by serving  the ice cream in my homemade  whole wheat Churros Ice Cream Cups. We had a mini ice cream party with 2 flavors last night after dinner😋😊

  • 2 cups chilled cream(like Amul fresh cream)
  • 2 cups condensed milk(you can use homemade too)
  • 3 heaped tsp of instant coffee powder
  • 2 tbsp water
  • Handful of crumbled Brownie pieces

  • Mix coffee powder in 2 tbsp hot water to make coffee decoctionIMG20170615132756
  • Add this coffee decoction to condensed milk and mix well and keep aside

  • Take chilled cream in a mixing bowl and start whipping with either a hand whisk or electronic whisk, whisk till you get soft peaks in cream. A nice chilled cream gets to that state very easily in 4-5 minutes

  • Now mix the coffee and condensed milk mixture in the whipped cream and fold in gentlyIMG20170615133423
  • Finally fold in the Brownie piecesIMG20170615133518
  • Now, pour the mixture in freezer safe airtight box and put that box in a zip lock or a normal plastic bag, seal the bag and freeze for minimum 4-6 hours or overnight

The plastic bag is to make sure your ice cream doesn’t get ice crystals and is creamy in texture 😃 One thing I noticed was my Brownie pieces got mixed in the liquid and there were only few chewy bites, I guess these should be freezed for an hour or two before adding them to the ice cream mixture to prevent that. I am going to do the same next time.

Having a spoon of this Mocha Brownie Ice Cream is really Heavenly, try it to believe 😊
