Baked Khasta Methi Mathris with Whole wheat Flour

Methi(fenugreek) Mathris are very popular North Indian snack. They are mostly deep-fried in hot oil and made with refined flour, but my version is full of health as they are made with 100 % whole wheat flour and baked.IMG20171011152627.jpg

It is a good way to feed Fenugreek to kids. My daughter loves savory crispy things and that way she ate Methi happily which she would never otherwise. I have used kasuri Methi in making them which gives a great flavor.

In this festive season I tried making them fancier by topping them with some Garlic and Herbed Cream Cheese and pickled onions. We loved them as an evening snack. Methi Mathri CanapeTake a look at the recipe
